Rising to New Heights In 2024 and Beyond

A new beginning in 2017 initiated with the hiring of Mitch Ross and the current coaching staff has resulted in the Fairfield Ludlowe Falcons rising to new heights. The 25-game losing streak ended dramatically and in 2018 the team won 4 games by a single point, and 2 overtime games to finish with a 7-3 record, the best record in Ludlowe Falcons history since the split of Fairfield High School. The winning streak has continued for the past 6 years with the Falcons never having posted a losing record. In 2024 the team expects to build on last year’s 7-3 record. It’s a daunting task, as the Falcons face 4 playoff teams including 3 teams who played in the championship last year.
The team returns most of its starters from last year. It also added some highly touted younger players and several new coaches who are certain to add to the quality of the team on every level. Wrap this all together, along with the support of the Fairfield community and Falcon’s Gridiron Club, and it’s clear that the Fairfield Ludlowe Falcons are on the rise in 2024 and beyond!
Over the last 7 years, the Ludlowe Falcons have developed the number one passing team in the state while the roster has grown from 24 players in 2016 to over 100 players in 2024. 15 of those players have gone on to play college football.
